After reading my friend WKY site http://www.calltoreason.org , on church of ENGland apoligize to Charles Darwin. I would like to share what John Naisbitt end in its recent book :-
"In one of our conversation in Cambridge, where I lived for many years, Peter Senge introduced me to a letter written by a man who shook the foundation of the our origins and destiny, the letter Charles Darwin wrote at the end of his life :
Up to the age of 30, or beyond it, poetry gave me great pleasure. But now for many years I cannot endure to read a line of poetry. My mind seems to have become a kind of machine for grinding general laws out of large collections of facts, and if I had to live my life again, I would have made a rule to read some poetry and listen to some music several times every week. The loss of these tastes is a loss of happiness, and may possibly be injurious to the intellect and more probably to the moral character, by enfeebling the emotional part of our nature.
Whenever the future holds, it will be worth nothing if there is no joy."
Darwin, should you listen to taiwanese composer/singer Chai jian za... she wrote a very very wonderful song call Darwin or Dar er wen in Chinese. The lyrics just goes to show how Darwin affect us so much IMHO..
Darwin, the one theory that I would like to praise him of is Natural Selection.. I think these theory is as practical as ever through the ages.. Hmm ..wonder what Carl Sagan would say about this.. :p
