I am saddened these day by much of the movie which is pure entertainment based.. after all it is meant for entertainment lah..I wanted to watch something that is of meaning and bring message..
Echoes of Rainbow hit the local screen.. Now few cinemas is showing HK nominated movie ler..
There are a few to choose from but i know this one is not an easy movie especially accredit to a boy that could make it stand out from rest.
It was 60's - 70's stuff where the Brits reign and HK flers fought for survival thru hardship and toiling hoping that the next generations does have a fair share comfort in latter life.
Simon Yam and Sandra Ng teaming up as couple. You wouldnt want to miss this.
The story is as childlike as possible and there is no dramatic hype. Just ordinary life.. of course you wont expect glooming lens added but also dont expect vivid highlight notion as well.
Yet it is a masterpiece in such simplicity.
I couldn't hold myself to tears ler.. cried many times.. WTF.. WTF...
then that fler next to me also cried...
then i saw lotsa ppl wiping their tears tooo... WTF..WTF...
this is neccesary evil.
Go watch this movie.. even the tears earning part is enough for ur ticket jor..
