Beware of SMS services - Mexcomm SMS

Since last month I was surprise that my phone was bar within days. I was curious as I had not make much call with my personal line. Then this month only I realize I did subcribe to a sms service. It was a one time download of submarine tone which the bloody tone never reaches me!!

And worst of all it keep on billing and billing... Last month billing was almost rm60 and this month is RM 72.20.. the worst part the billing keep coming without me having receive any sms from them.

Wasted hundred over ringgit down the drain..

So next time when you subscribe to any sms services.. Please make sure you know in details and also take great precaution of any scam.

So this month onwards I change to e-billing which the pdf file could be seen in one glance. Safe some tree and some money as well.

  2. Call up maxis or your line service provider. They will help you to block it. simple as that.

  4. I also got this problem with my last month bill. Maxis said it is not their problem and I need to contact the third party Mexcomm to negotiate with them. There is only one customer service no, and it is for termination only. I want to negotiate for refund cause I never receive the said SMSes. I'm planning to sue through the Consumer Claims Tribunal but I am not sure to sue Maxis or Mexcomm? Please advise if you know.

    2. type google mexcomm and u will see this company cheated many and been sue in court and fine rm 15k by suruhanjaya komunikasi malaysia ....u can file a complaint there

  5. Can we make a police report with bloody suck provider, my wife does not know what is about maybe when they send and in order to remove it, she send reply...if MAXIS do not want to wave it, the best is make a police report due to scams..

  7. The same think happened to my wife's phone last month (6/2013). These companies really rob our money. I did terminate it by calling celcom customer service. Pls someboby sue these companies(everworks&mexcomm) for their tricky cheating.

  8. same happened to me too :'(
    when i topup, that sms keep in . then slowly my credit getting lost . i have no chance to use that credit :( first it's say RM 4.00 then RM 4.00 then my credit become like this RM 0.00 ! this company really rob our money ...

    1. Yes.. what you could do now is prevent it further. Call your telco and ask them to block this recurring charges. That is at least the best you can do now.

  9. Happen to me also..just noticed november..but after check back my pdf statement...it drain RM45 each month for me..RM 3 each for 2 days alternate..so i follow above suggestion .. type STOP ALL to 37800.. it work..thanks guys

    tapi problem ni sebenarnya lebih dasyhat..mungkin ia dah hack sistem provider..just imagine if i person almost RM45..how about ..ribu2 orang.. bole goyang kaki kompeni ni..

  11. I called Celcom today - they say they cannot stop it (I think this is a standard answer for first caller or a non angry customer). The instruction given was send STOP ALL to 32339 and STOPMMS to 32263.
    Celcom will only help to report to whoever it is if the above steps does not work.
    Anybody reported this to MCMC yet? I cant believe people have been complaining since 2010 and its still here in 2014.

  12. My mom been using maxis and the bill suppose to be rm124 roughly. But this mexcomm makes this month bill up to rm800. This is so sick!!! Mexcomm ni what company???? Nonsense for every transaction it took rm4 😡😡😡

  13. Same goes with me. I was charged total rm124 for this scam sms from mexcomm. I called Maxis to block and requested for waiver. Not guaranteed can get back money. Surprising, this company rob people money for 6 years and no enforcement authority stop this from recurring. We should lodge police report before this scammer hunt other innocent people out there!

  15. Hey guys. Kena same thing rob me of rm120++. I sent STOP to 32338. It return with a message saying I'm not subscribed to any subscription.
    Does that mean it is already cancel?

  19. Omg, is still happen in year 2018 !! I have called Maxis same replied not related to them, however I checked Maxis actually have service contract with the scammer company! So that this company can charge through our maxis account

  20. happen to me just now since july now ogos the company charge my post paid bill 120 permonth wihout knowing what it is actually for..rm4 per sms every day..37700.. seems this company always change number

  22. Every number will be different its base on the area you are staying, for me, just reply STOP ALL to 37600, its will sent back as terminated. Jesus.

  25. I also kena since Feb 2019 and only realised this month,Mexcom chaged Rm4 per sms n total chages 160 per month.This one have to take serious action against this company ..otherwise more people jadi victim

  26. i also kena charged rm20 for mexicomm sms this month. now is year 2020 still happened since i knew the same incidents from some others start in year 2010.how terrible. the scammer still doing their work.
