I went to NBT tonight. It was Eric Li leading in the piano again. It's been awhile since I saw John Thomas. That boy has grown up and was drumming away. But you can see he is still as shy as ever.
This 3 piece band play tune from Chick Corea, Charlie Parker to name a few... and those are of popular tune. Well, it was a relax night to be here to indulge and spend some time with friends.
Zailan Razak will be playing this Friday and Saturday.. hmmm.... my mind is thinking.
WKY : Get SS to get that movie The Cup. It was a very good movie and could give a better insight of why Tibetian would want to have a representavie of their own.. Soccer is also a new cultural language there for sometime now as beside than religious practises with no power to rule..the next best thing to keep the spirit and flesh in sync is to play sport. Sports that need an outcry of identity that the Tibetian hungers for the the recent years.
I will only update Sydney day 2 photos later as I am tired already.
I've seen The Cup long time ago, in Mid Valley GSC. Must have been more than 5 years now. It's a simple & nice & fun movie. But I don't remember any political message in it though. The film is just trying to say that Tibetans are just ordinary & simple people, with desire & passion in a good way.
ReplyDeletehmm.. I watched that in Mid Valley as well. Well, the last part was the message about the boy saying when could they have their own soccer team...
