iT's weekend..

* Awesome movie... Well.. Michael Bay and Mr jerRY.. what could go wrong
*my new cupboard..

I tried to reassure myself that it will be a good run before I knock off early to bed. Woke up at 5:15.. dress up and off I went to UM.. yea... Larian Gemilang.. and when I arrived.. I was looking at the crowd and go find myself some parking.. I knew how hard it could be to find parking here sometime.. and U-turn look at the crowd again.. and I sped off...

Was it the phobia that haunt me for more than a month or that deceiving fear in me.. I can't tell..
I was rather concern that the pain will come back again.. so tell myself to run for 3 - 5 km and see how the leg respond first..a precautionary measure.

In some cases, playing hero is a big price to pay...especially if you are bouncing back from something delicately which might come back again.. Well.. let see yea..

Got home.. time to make some changes now. Clean up the mess in my room.. I know I needed an extra cupboard.. was looking at Carrefour cupboard.. either the 9 pigeon hole square thingy or the standard cupboard. Friday I was looking at it for like 15 mins and went off cant decide which one to get...

So got those stuff on the table cleared.. Put back my 24 inches LCD on the table, clean the proccessor heat sink, motherboard ..blah blah blah.. and viola.. I love my desk.. :p Trying to adopt minimalist..:p So my pc still have the PPS.. I always wanted to back Pearl Harbour again. Load it and watch second time.. of course the PPS version is slightly longer.. can imagine this movie was like 10 years ago man.. Many scenes are so fresh to me. The japs are really terror people.. just imagine how smart they are those days having carrier and destroyers!!

Well, Sunday itself I decided to get the typical cupboard type.. Took me a little while to get them together.. Am happy it is up and ready.. So one of the compartment is to store my workout routine stuff.. so I would never have to find them again last minute. aINT it a fruitful sunday? :p

Then I felt something is terribly missing in my to achieve list in term of workout activity event..
Spent almost few hours to define a more specific goal. Now I am really happy to move towards that direction!

Birthday celebration at Umaiya with the runners kakis!!

Chop off their leggy.. they rather die instantly. The one on the right with blue and black color shirt is Cynthia's bf.. can't understand how ppl actually label those chill to the spine name for their love one.. BUBU....or BUBUT is it? Anything to do with Jabba or Jar Jar Bink?

on Saturday we had buffet lunch at Umaiya Puchong. It was to celebrate Me, Cynthia and Tey's birthday which surprisingly we share the same birthdate lah.. So far I think I only know two other fler who share same birthdate with me.

So finally get to know few other runners which usually ting tong piang in FB!! Now knowing them and hopefully break more ice in the future.

A wonderful session and Cynthia present us with the X-RATED cake... horny stuff wei....

Nevertheless, the food here is food ..definitely will come back someday especially the salmon.. damn good man!!

What wheelset are you using? is it a steel bearing?

I constantly surprise myself when going downhill.. I cruise like speed demon.. even sayur lotsa ppl..

So putting almost 80% learn in school and forgetting it and remembering less than 20% of physics learn.. or u thought u still have that 20% understanding do u? huhuuhhuhu...

So I wanted to find out the details behind this but always slip my mind or I was plain lazy lah...

Everytime as I go down hill.. the speed got rack up faster.. pass thru lotsa ppl without pedalling and gain longer distance as it slightly to ascend or on the plain.

I always thought maybe this fler that I bought the bike from did something to hub or the ball bearing.. this is a cheapo Shimano stuff but work like a baby dude.. I became proud of it..ahaha..

Then during the Broga race, as I was sharing my yoko2 with a rider who suffer cramp at the top of the hill.. we chat for a while.. then after that when we are ready we cruise down the hill...

All the way.. and when he catch up with me.. he was like asking me what wheelset are u using.. what brand and it is steelbearing i am using.. I said cheapo shimano wh500 ania mah..

He said impossible.. as we converse in Hokkien.. He said he saw me flying down damn fast and as he was slowing down.. i still go faster.. he had to pedal damn bloody hard to catch up with me..

I told him lah its my heavy weight that make me go faster.. so he gimme that curious look whether to believe me or not.. well.. marketing is so sinful.. it could even lead u from the basic truth of science.. hmm.. i do not want to strike some Galileo or newtonian conversation as I also confuse too..

So yesterday I keep reminding myself to get down to business... at least I find something that explain it in quite comprehensive satisfying way..


Well, I should savvy this moment before I lose all the weight to not able to enjoy such unequal advantage downhill again.. So speaking of that.. now as I remember I was chasing Shahrin downhill at Genting Sempah.. I now know why he applied the ride and brake technique to fundamentally mess with my torque.. He is indeed cunningly deceptive devilish to apply his victory.

Well.. learning as my as I can to apply for my Epic ride.

Next digging in more on the power-to-weight ratio...

Rudyard Kipling

Was reading Simon Cross' blog and get a comprehensive story on Chrissie Wellington. Took a peep and worth all the 5 minutes of reading or so. And this If poem is rather powerful. Had came across some of Kipling stuff and you will be fascinated by the thought of this man of his ages... he seems to be get ahead of time as for me.. My earliest exposure is The Jungle Book.. fascinated later it does has its influence in the world of scouting as well. Even the taikor leader is called Akela also from the Jungle book.. Baden Powell must be quite literate humour in some sense.. yea.. u will never forget even scouting day every year on 22nd of February. Smart!

Well, I guess i need to exercise my brain a little else it will become rusty. maybe more mojo thru blogging. That is my imperial domination of endless measurement to progress. aHHa.. are we getting somewhere? Not quite.

I was pondering just now about what is some of the lessons and paradigm shift that carried me from 2010. To think of it is where I endure this muscular cramp pain to a great degree. Used to be when I all cramped up... I will halt all activities and lay to rest. August 1st 2010 changed that.. For the firs time in my life, I had endured and fuck it real hard and hammered it down to the bone.. not quite literally. But the ego to not turn back is too determine that I wont even have to vulgar off my mouth to achieve it. I want it so badly that my body will obey or coping it hard in great resistant to obey.

Of course this year is not to gain the repetitive commotion again to prove my ego further. It objective is not that.. but come beautifully serve as a fancy journal page along the way... along came as spider or something like that lah.

So I can't wait to get my leg heal completely and again strike that awesome Epic ride I want to achieve so badly this year. But now I want to ride smarter.. Ride until I still have some reserve gas tank left for the day. That require some substantiate of fitness regime. It will unwind itself when the goal is clear cut enough. The only different is this time it is burning flame of desire with clear cut goal. I shall fulfill it. So the reverse "engineer" parts are obvious and fall into places. It might not be 100% as set and fallacy does come into play in the real world. but at least I am destine to ride better of course. Let really really see when it will take place eh?

Ok..This Ming Chew fler does sell his book for a reason. It has result. I walap lotsa water. 3 fish oils and 3 NAC capsules a day in different time of the day. It was reasonably minimize my pain in such a swift pattern and it really works amazingly today. Yea.. no sugar yea for inflammatory promotion..

I really want to to heal badly by end of this week!

The Ming Method

By next week, I will have been 1 month limping my way.. I can't recall how it is like to walk properly... Just when I thought I was almost OK.. then began to do some walking that coz further injury to my leg. Therefore I am taking a rest as much as possible until I am fully recover.

It's really frustrating not to be able to walk right.

I pick up this copy after it was recommended in Master the shift as the no.1 book. Ming Chew is one of the most sought after physical therapist.

Simple books with simple explanation. You would want to get a copy to understand more about some of the injury. The most important stuff that is left out as he goes not to explain the important of fascia which was often overlook.

The pain in my leg succumb again yesterday and I decided to take as much rest as possible to avoid it being prolong any longer. It would be now the longest record history in my entire life in sports injury which does somehow put a taint to my moral. Ouch.. frustrated and eager to bounce back as soon as possible.

So I just started to do a few self-stretching recommended by this book.

It is important to avoid all form of SUGAR if you are injured.. Sugar does increase inflammation and all healing slow down and come to a half.

Second, hydrate yourself as much as possible..as the fascia need all the liquid needed it speed up the healing. So stop all dehydration liquid such as coffee and alcoholic stuff.

So I hope for a speedy recovery soon.

There is an Epic ride I wanted to do this year.

Riding up to Cameron Highlands in one day.. rest a day and the third day back to KL.

Hope to do it soon.

I already have a plan in mind.
