Alternative to Powerbar or powergel

Ok.. I am not following the mainstream for refuelling anymore. Avoiding all unnecessary caffeine and process sugar in the powergel. So just got this recipe from Brendan Brazer as a direct fuel bite. There are few other recipes as well which I do not have the time to make. So for this one I do not have the coconut oil to substitute.

Went to Carrefour and scout around. There only have ORGANIC Virgin coconut oil which the price might equivalent to rocket fuel. So I think I will get some other brand somewhere else .. perhaps from Masjid India or what. Well, guess what.. I substitute it with extra virgin olive oil. Anyway, I also put in the pulps together not just the zest.. :p

It suppose to be put into a food processor.. but I only have blender lah.. well not as smooth but edible.. Put in the freezing fridge now. So will pop it half way point during the race tomorrow.. hope I wont end up in the toilet... hehe...

Broga here we come tomorrow!!

Well.. here is the recipe :-
