New Plan for running

"Here is an excel template for you to use. Please key in yours and send to me. Mine for the month of July is in there. The rules for the game are simple…

1. We need to achieve minimum 80% of our weekly mileage. Let’s say if that weeks planned mileage is 50k then we need to achieve minimum 40k.

2. Whoever fails to achieve the 80% of the weekly target needs to put RM50 into a tabung.

3. Minimum weekly mileage cannot go below 30km. So if 80% of that weeks target is less than 30km, we still must achieve minimum 30km or 80% whichever is higher.

4. This will continue till PBIM. We will then use the tabung funds for makan and other things in Penang.

5. You must register for a Buckeyeoutdoor account.

6. You must use the Garmin for every run.

7. You must sync the Garmin with Buckeyeoutdoors for every run. This will help us keep track of each other.

8. Runs that are not logged with the Garmin and Buckeyeoutdoors will not count.

9. You must sync your Buckeye account with Facebook so the whole world can see your training!

Better get going man, you are already behind for this week since you have not run!"

Above is the new pointer from Dinesh in preparation for Penang Marathon. Met Dinesh for lunch in the afternoon as he drove over my office.

We were discussing on training all whatever that we have not done or done right.

So I have challenge myself to alkalize my body and at the same time he suggest a proper training plan. Sound good!! Never thought about it. At least the first month is doable lah.

So for the month of July will be : -

Over the a week will have 4 runs. Two which focus on 7-8km mileage, One on sprint at 3km and another weekend of 13-15km long run. I think that is adequate to put in two more sessions of cycling in between.

It's gonna talk whole lotsa commitment again as there is penalty and non-cheating publishing of run via the Garmin 305.. So basically I can't cheat.. anyway firmware that I can tweak the program? :p

What if sometime it eats lemon like what happen to New Balance run? hmmm

At least I am excited to see results in Centro run, Siemens run (not yet register woe), PD Tri and Century ride.

So you could follow-up my progress in Facebook via Buckeyes outdoor.

Tomorrow KLCC here I come mate..
