Sony Alpha A200 acquisition ~ not mine lah..

* This come with a 16:9 format. My favourite scenery and also emotional impact format.
* Overcast and clipping and highlight is now reduce.
* ISO 800 at so little noise!!

* ISO 1600 and was suprisingly pretty well but the algorithm of noise reduction on the picture could be pretty visible as you blow slightly to proportion.
* The flash now pop up automatically should it find it needed so...at AUTO mode of course..Look at the built-in flash could execute quite a well balance fill flash..as oppose to the A100...
* Another fill flash work and rather impressive.
* The highlight and clipping.. look... improve dynamic range..
* This is set to DRO+ .. wonder dynamic range again.. KNN..

This morning my oldman called up and his best fren wanna get a camera.. so he said get a 400 - 500 one.. OK ler..tat one tesco can get oredi lor..

So I called Mr. Ho up and find out more detail. Well, as a frequent traveller, get a decent camera lah. So guess what I recommended him?

THE SONY ALPHA A200 ....

Well, am I being bias, yes and no, if the A200 is not out yet, definitely nikon d40x will be a good choice.. Speaking of that Nikon D60 was in paper yesterday. Wondering what is the price to compete with.

So off I went to Sg. Wang and chk lah.. The price is now 1800 in those sg wang area.. camera and kit lens only. So get lousy screen protector @ 20 and KEEP filter at RM40.. all in RM 1860...

So was spend a decent lunch for that cause...hmm.. I had a good place for dining again. ehehe..

Then off we go to Chae office to get the 4GB memory card at @ rm 170 and the OTG with 120 harddisk at RM 360.00 ...

Slightly more than a year ago the a100 with kit lens is RM 3499.00 and a decent 2gb steno 133X is RM 2xx at a decent price.. My tokina 100-300 F4 will be in ebay RM 3300.00 ... the 50MM 1.4 will be RM 1000.00, 70-300 will be RM 1050.00.. the sigma 28-70 2.8 will be RM 950.00 , the famous A16 Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 will be 1450.00 , The Tamron MACRO SP90 will be RM 1500.00. Plus all dry box ...filter, CPL, BLAH blah.. that is up to about 2K...

It is a pain in the ass to see the camera price drop but those lens price still maintain lah.. else, I will have to wack my testicle long time ago..

So the eye start is now rather impressive as the focus speed is definitely faster. I had some fun time shooting in the car. The ISO is definitely excellent. Considerably the Canon 400D is suffering a major challenge but not sooner as Malaysia ikut angin style will stick to Canon or Nikon for awhile.. While Sony command a branded upperhand.. therefore will gain handful market share I think. I just love the focus speed.. I hope the flagship model will do much much better than this. The buttons are much more ergonomic and making far greater sense to reach. Excellent Sony! The as I said works slowly but they work diligently and with passion and paradoxically their frustration and sense of acheivement are driving force too.

I just wish the A200 possess the solid poly carbonate plastic from A100 and other cosmetic suit too. Yet the price for such is unbeatable.

We should have more and more rookies that will hunt for KM lens online or elsewhere soon and they would pay a higher price as they must learn that lenses is "peang yeh mou hou yeh!"

As for me, it will still be quite sometime now.. I want a full frame or whatever that 1.1 crop factor will be.

At the meantime, more shootings and have fun.
