How I spend my New Year eve...

Children are never tired with games.
The usual suspect who is expert in BBQing.. leading by taiko CSS.. CSS recently is into smoking weed I guess.. got skinny.. Derrick could consider beard as manhood.. not too bad.

hmmm.. what was I doing on 31st last year. Cant really recall actually. well, this year I got invited to Chung's family neighbourhood for a BBQ night.

Before that, I went to SS2 to pass my bibs number to Foo who will run Newton tomorrow. My leg is getting better and I hope by end of the month after substantial weight lose, I hope it will go away.. then I can channel the money instead of chiropractic into my new challenge lah. Please please body.. make that miracle!!

Well, since I am around with adequate time and much much time left before heading for BBQ, I went to the famous chicken rice that is on the way to PJ oldtown lah.. what was that two shops name again? haha.. usually I will bump into the corner shop one instead of the famous next door. for a try and see how the standard has been these day, I trick myself into trying the famous one. The price certainly is getting more expensive.

Well, there is one man and her cute young daughter was keep on looking at me from the other table. He keep on looking ler and the daughter as well. This gotta do with my old town ad I guess. True enough that guy while on the way to the toilet ask me about it. Well, as I was about to leave, he asked me to take photo with him. Usually ppl take photos with me because of this tv thingy is thru so and so my fren lah.. direct strangers approach is first time lah. His daughter took our photo with his galaxy tab lah. He actually worked in 8tv and ntv7. Well, the whole incident which I think funny or i like to blog about is he said to me " its very hard to bump into tv ad personality".. That I really dunno how to answer him. Maybe can recall those day when I first bump into like jangan ketawa that tall fler pondan or Rambo Chin. wow.. so damn happy for the day man.. too bad those day tadak digital camera yet else will sure camwhore with them. That is unique encounter for the last day of 2011.

The BBQ was something of an odd experience. Used to be joining people of adult singles or non married couple. Now i am joining young families and me and CCS is the only singleton. Furthermore CSS need to cabut early to attend his company event at Bkt Bintang.. then heard he wants to countdown in Genting wor. So happening. Now its very unique because young families momentum since to slow down a lot. The priority is more of raising up their kids and the maturity level has shift. That's life of course.

The wonderful thing is to sit under a huge table and talk cock under a clear blue sky with the weather is just now. I am rather tired especially but able to sit thru the night.

Recap 2011

The most unproductive year. Some little surprises and. Long long holiday and nursing the wound.

1) I will forever remember plantar fasciitis and tendonitis.. It does not want to let go.. so from January to March it linger and it came back again from August till November.. so how does it feel? Demotivated and shitty.. but that is part of life. Now at least learn some lessons and adjustment needed.

2) I only did 3 events out of so many that I have plan.

3) I missed flight for the first time in my life.. to Korea.. WTF.. thanks to my good friend Lam..

4) I also give up flying for the first time to Siem Reap..

5) I had no desire anymore to be in relationship.. even got also 5%... perhaps too happy to be alone.

6) I quit my job after 4 and a half years which could be a good thing.

7) Start out something new which doesn't quite last and hope the followup will succeed later.

8) I thought it was the end of my commercial ad career last year. It seems to be big surprise for me to be able to do few ads. For the first time, I appear as main cast without those beards and olden days costume lah.. I don't even quite know what ad I was shooting for until I got home to search for it.. For the first time I got my face into print ad feature in products and public places. :p ... I became quite well known with Old Town white coffee ads.. being label as old town ambassador or mr oldtown which i am not lah. .. and there is part two for it to work with Miao Miao... which really I never expect it to happen.

9) I did voice over com for the first time.. though its a kuci role but it was fun!

10) I did revenge Melaka walk and came back without long injury.. I did it!

11) I get to understand alkaline diet and i think it will give me some breakthru next year.

12) I finally into smartphone from march 1st and been using my android based mi300.. quite a nice phone though with low specs

13) I join public demonstration for the first time - Bersih 2.0 .. get a taste of tear gas for the first time.

14) I went to Bon Odori for the first time.

15) I finally bought the Sony A580 DSLR. so shooting is back into my life again.. it was not in the original plan but the offer I can't refuse. I intend to do it well.

That's all for 2011.. a better 2012 ahead.

2012 Mega sales

Yes.. I am actually planning ahead about 2-3 weeks back for 2012... due to the fact that 2011 is really a redundant year.. Well, at least achieving half of what I want to set out to do also quite happy.

So the sidetrack can be easily monitor and no more blowing hot air oredi.. :p

Trying my very best not to let it collect dust.

The horoscope and zodiac blah blah blah...

Ah yes.. about horoscope all these stuff.. it could be true and might not be true..

Those days there was a certain period of time I keep track of it and observe it with much attention.

From 2004 - 2010 was where I stack thru and flow all these. Talking about the bad and good time and bad and good stuff blah blah blah..

I went thru it all.. then after some thoughts.. even though it could be true.. well.. there's nothing u can do about it prematurely lah.. so just go steady and deal with it when the times come.

Now I will take it as a pinch of salts and utilise to navigate to the best interest and goal of my life lah..

Bottomline is still need to be happy utmost important virtue and live on!!

The year of famine in activities

This is the three stooges for 2011. Thanks to the wonderful plantar fasciitis and the still ongoing tendonitis.. whatever the name it was. All three were done with much pain as lack of training and prolong healing and laziness.

Well, at least I finish something though not way below my expectations. At least I was able to revenge Melaka walk and finish it with crafty way that minimize the damage I plot. Being really meaningless but narcissist of self fulfillment at least.

That's it for this year. As of next year I would not expect much as well until my leg really back to form. Adios!

Ring flash is here finally

This will be the last kopek.. yes.. i seriously hope so as now $$$ is running on the thin line.. furthermore I would like to try some creative shots with macro with the ring flash. It arrive all the way from Poland and I was rather busy in the morning. Tested some few shots. The Delta DRF14

Was quite please with it overall pleasant output. Now need to really get some rechargeable battery to get this going. Though its plasticky but wasn't as inferior as it thought to be.

Now close-up portraiture, macro and products shooting will be totally handy with it. The setback is the 1/160 via Sony ADI.. therefore I think to get a sharper result at really close-up does need a tripod to cut it.

I finally print out next year goals and target. Not exactly all but already 70% and nothing much on 2012 except to excel on few agenda. Hope to progress further and faster within the years run out.

Powerman 2011

So wanted to do this but I can't risk no more my leg. There will be Powerman 2012.

So went there to support by taking photos.

Khoo did a wonderfully by finishing the whole race! Of course there are familiar faces all over and glad to see them.
